LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in Columbus, Indiana have released the identity of a woman who was found murdered inside her apartment this week.

The body of 26-year-old Adaobi Obih was found inside a unit at the River Stone Apartments.  Police are now calling her roommate, 36-year-old Ryan Klug, a suspect in the murder.

According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by WDRB News, Obih had been stabbed several times and her throat was cut.  Co-workers became concerned when she didn't show up for work on Monday and asked management at the apartment complex to check on her.

That's when a maintenance worked discovered the body.

Police say Klug has been missing since the body was discovered.  They believe he is driving a silver or gray Subaru Legacy with Indiana license plate number 357 BPC.

Lt. Matt Myers with the Columbus Police Dept. says, "We do not think that he is in this area at this time so anybody who comes in contact with him or has had contact with him for the last couple of days is asked to contact the police department."

According to Klug's Facebook page, he is employed at the Indiana Department of Transportation.  The affidavit indicates his supervisor described his behavior as being "off" in the last several weeks.

Anyone with information about Klug's whereabouts is asked to contact Columbus Police.
