LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- WWE superstar Damien Sandow knows what it's like to be called someone else's hero.

But Thursday, the pro wrestler visited Kosair Charities to encourage a teen facing his own tough fight.

Louisville teenager Michael Moore has neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that causes skin and bone abnormalities.

Sandow says Moore, who is nearly a straight-A student despite the disease, is an inspiration.

"I rarely get tongue-tied on camera, but this has been so personally affecting to me," Sandow said.  "And, when I say that you guys are an inspiration, and the courage you show, Michael, it's just unbelievable to me.  And, so you're my hero."

Sandow also gave Moore an autographed action figure of himself.
