LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- They say Red Bull gives you wings, but that wasn't enough to help one local suspect evade the law, according to an arrest report.

Police say 28-year-old Jonathan S. Fulks of Louisville walked into the Kroger on New Cut Road, near 3rd Street Road, on Nov. 26, just before 4 p.m., and put $222 worth of Red Bull energy drink in his shopping cart.

He then allegedly tried to leave without paying.

Police say loss prevention employees stopped him and recovered the merchandise. He was arrested and charged with theft.
