LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville woman accused of DUI tried to use money, community service and the promise of pleasure to bribe the officer who arrested her.
According to an arrest report, officers were called to the parking lot of Circle K on Westport Road, near N. Hurstbourne Pkwy., after receiving a report of a "suspicious person" on the property.
When they arrived, they allegedly found 28-year-old Jennifer Holloway asleep at the wheel of her 2010 white Toyota, with the engine running. Police say they opened the door of the vehicle and "immediately smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver."
Holloway had glossy eyes, was unsteady on her feet and had a hard time following directions, according to police.
While in police custody, Holloway, "offered the officer money, community service, and said, 'let me please you' if the officer would let her go," the arrest report states. She later allegedly offered the officer $10,000 to release her.
Instead, she was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and bribery of a public servant.
