STARLIGHT, Ind. (WDRB) - The Huber name is well known for its pumpkin patches, apple butter, fried biscuits and winery, but the Huber's Starlight Distillery business is about to expand its alcoholic offerings.
A change in Indiana state law means Huber's Starlight Distillery will be able to produce other spirits like whiskey, bourbon, vodka, and gin.
It allows artisan distillers to offer samples for tasting, then sell spirits by the glass and by the bottle directly to consumers.
Huber's officials say the change will boost tourism at the facility, create jobs, and help pump money into the local economy.
