Keith Kaiser creates his own style of dance when he visits the University of Louisville Dance Academy as they prepare for Clara's Dream.
Founded in 1972, The University of Louisville Dance Academy is the official school of the University of Louisville Dance Theatre.
The focus at UofL is on serious ballet training in an academy setting. Alumni from the UofL Dance Academy have danced, or are presently dancing, in companies throughout the country and Canada, including the New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, the National Ballet of Canada, and the Louisville Ballet.
Students from the Academy have been invited to study at the School of American Ballet (school for the New York City Ballet), the School for the San Francisco Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet School, the Pacific-Northwest Ballet School, the school for the Pennsylvania Ballet, and the Aspen Ballet Academy for the summers.
The University of Louisville Dance Academy presents Clara's Dream, their annual holiday production:
