LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Metro Police Department added 15 new officers Wednesday morning.

The ceremonies mark the end of more than five months of training.

The new officers will start work with field training officers on their beats within a few days.

The class includes 15 metro police officers and one alcoholic beverage control agent.

LMPD says four have previous police or military experience, and more than half have college degrees.
