LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Clark Memorial Bridge has been reopened after a deadly crash.
Metro Police say they responded to the crash around 3:45 p.m. Officials say the driver of a blue Pontiac driving in the northbound lanes lost control and swerved into the southbound lanes, where it hit a dump truck.
The driver of the Pontiac was taken to University Hospital, where he later died. Police say they do not know why he lost control of the car.
The bridge was reopened just after 6:30 p.m.
In late October, the bridge was closed for another crossover fatal crash - that one involving a BMW.
