LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana man was arrested early Friday morning after a six-hour standoff that began when he fired several shots at family members.

Officers were called to the rural home outside Paoli, Ind. late Thursday night.

Indiana State Police say no one was hurt by the gunfire.  Sgt. Philip Hensley says 54-year-old David Coleman barricaded himself inside the house and didn't come out until about 5 a.m. Friday.

Coleman faces preliminary charges of attempted murder and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
