BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WDRB) - The Collins Titans captured the school's first state title in a thrilling 37-34 victory.

Highlands took the lead with about two minuites to go before giving possesion back to Collins. The Titans launched a quick, long-range pass that put a receiver in the endzone before being called back for having stepped out of bounds.

The big gain on the play led Collins to march down the field to a fourth down about 15 yards out.

On third down the Titans' starting quarterback Lawson Page lost his helment, bringing in the backup quarterback Browning Becherer to complete a pass over the middle to Nathan Sames in the endzone to put Collins up for good. While Page threw for 178 yards, Highlands quarterback Drew Houliston threw for 367 yards.

Highlands got a last posession with 7 seconds left and launched a hail-mary pass that would fall incomplete, sealing the victory for Collins.
