LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Shively Police say they arrested a man after he was caught driving drunk with his 3-year-old son in the back seat.
According to an arrest report, the incident took place on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 4:00 p.m.
Police say 40-year-old Anthony W. Goldsmith was driving his 1995 tan Buick LeSabre on Gagel Ave., near Stewart Ave., when he was involved in an accident. Police say he then struck two other vehicles before his car came to a complete stop in the middle of the roadway.
When police arrived, Goldsmith was allegedly "walking around, very unstable on his feet." Police say he smelled strongly of alcohol and had red eyes and slurred speech.
His 3-year-old son was in the back seat during the crash, police say.
Goldsmith was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as well as wanton endangerment, according to the arrest report.
