LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a woman after they allegedly found three juveniles in a home with drugs and a firearm.
According to an arrest report, deputies went to a home on Kenhurst Drive, near Greenwood Road and Terry Road, shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10. At the time, they say they were looking for a juvenile.
When a juvenile opened the door to the home, the deputies were "overwhelmed" by the stench of marijuana, according to the arrest report. The juvenile then proceeded to hand the deputies his marijuana and his drug paraphernalia.
A short time later, 33-year-old Krisenda Y. Allen -- a resident of the home -- arrived. Sheriff's deputies say she allowed them to search her home, including a locked bedroom. Inside the bedroom, deputies allegedly found powder cocaine, marijuana, hydrocodone, a .45 caliber handgun and over $300.
The property was "indicative of drug trafficking," according to the arrest report.
Three juveniles -- ages 15, 12 and 9 -- were allegedly inside the home at the time.
Allen was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
