LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 26-year-old man is accused of stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise from his employer.

According to an arrest warrant, Casey A. Ramsey worked at the Khazai Oriental Rug Gallery when he took at least five rugs on Oct. 21, 2013.

The store's owner suspected that Ramsey had been stealing the rugs and confronted him on Dec. 1. Police say Ramsey later signed a written statement admitting he had taken the rugs.

All of the rugs were returned.

Ramsey was charged with theft over $10,000.
