Officials say they are considering scrapping plan to stagger tolls, aim for full tolling in fall 2016.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It was a golden discovery for the Salvation Army in north central Indiana after an anonymous donor dropped a gold Krugerrand into a red kettle in Kokomo.
Officials found the coin in one of their kettles last week; it was later sold for more than $1,200.
The money will be put to good use since the organization is about $50,000 short of its fundraising goal in Kokomo.
This marks the fifth straight year a Krugerrand donation has been made in that city.
