LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Donations are pouring in to help needy kids in Meade County, Ky.
Rooms at the Meade County Angel Ministry are filled with gifts. Generous donors adopt angels to make sure families have enough to put under the tree. Last year the group helped more than 700 kids and expects to help many more this year.
Gifts range from clothing to toys and even bedding.
"We all take these kids on as our own, and we love them, and we protect them, and we try to make sure they all have that magic sparkle at Christmas," said Sheila Foster, director of the program. "We like to think of all the joy we have created."
This is the second year for the program. People who still want to help can. Just find "Meade County Angel" Ministry on Facebook.
