LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A student at PRP High School has been arrested after police say he knocked two other students down the stairs.
According to an arrest report, the alleged attack took place on Thursday at 9 a.m. at the school, which is located on Greenwood Road, near Terry Road.
Police say 18-year-old Diyonte Nameer Williams became angry because he felt there was "too much pedestrian traffic in the hallways." So he allegedly punched a student in the back of the head, knocking that student and another witness down a stairwell, according to police.
"This was extremely dangerous and could have caused death or serious physical injury," police say, adding that Williams, "showed no regard to the value of human life."
Several other students were pushed during the incident, according to the arrest report.
Williams was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment, assault and disorderly conduct.
