LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Ford is ringing in the new year with nearly two dozen new cars.

And that means 11,000 new jobs across the globe -- 5,000 of those would be in the United States. Ford says this will be the most people the automaker has hired in one year since 2000.

A new Mustang and new F-150 are just two of the 23 new cars expected to hit the market in 2014. Sixteen of the new cars will be sold in the U.S.

The last time Ford grew like this, Dwight D Eisenhower was president.
