'Santa-con' raises money for local children

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A Saturday night pub crawl raised money for 2-year-old Camilo Navas and 6-year-old Katharine Hernandez to help them for Christmas.

The owner of the Monkey Wrench, Denny Humphrey says, this is the second year they've participated in  Santa-Con event to give back to someone.

"Think it truly means a lot to give back to someone who isn't as fortunate enough as us," says Humphrey, "to be able to go out and enjoy the world like we do."

Also helping was Father Padre from Holy Name Catholic Church. Money raised will go to help these kids during the holiday season.

Everyone dressed in Santa outfits or as Elves during the fundraising event Saturday night.
