LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Notre Dame today announced its schedules for the next three seasons,  showing that the University of Louisville will travel to South Bend on Nov. 22, 2014, as part of the school's commitment to Atlantic Coast Conference opponents that begins next season.

With that being the case, and with new changes to U of L's rivalry with the University of Kentucky, the Cardinals could finish the season at Notre Dame, then home against the Wildcats.

It's a long way from the schedule the Cardinals played this season, which saw crowds decline after the team lost to Central Florida.

More details from the ACC about U of L's schedule won't be available until the league gets more clarity in its exit agreement with Maryland, but it clearly has moved forward building a schedule that includes Louisville in play for 2014, as evidenced by the Notre Dame schedule.

(A hat tip to CardinalSportZone.com for the find).

Notre Dame and Louisville are not schedued to meet in 2015 and 2016. A list of Notre Dame's schedules for the next three seasons can be found here.
