Louisville Metro Council revises ethics rules

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro Council has passed changes to its ethics law that should save taxpayer dollars.

The moves come after two recent scandals in which council members faced ethics hearings.

One change places a $25,000 dollar cap on attorney fees.

The council also approved changes that more clearly defined who can be considered a family member.
