LOUSVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Since 1988, the Lord's Kitchen, located in Louisville, has served those in need on Christmas Day. The outreach ministry has faithfully served meals every day since it first opened its doors.
Volunteers served a Christmas meal to dozens of low income families with all the trimmings, including green beans, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie.
The Lord's Kitchen has served more than six million meals since opening its doors. The organization also provides clothing and shelter to those in need.
This month, the non-profit celebrated it's 25th anniversary.
