LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 23-year-old Louisville man is facing several charges after a woman accused him of breaking into her apartment to "talk to her."
According to the arrest report, officers responding to a break-in early Christmas morning found Pablo Mucia in the victim's trying to talk to her. The victim told police she had dated Mucia in the past, but not recently.
Mucia said he came into the apartment through an unlocked front door.
The woman told officers he must have gotten into the apartment through a sliding glass door around 6:30 a.m. Police checked that door and found it had been "knocked apart by some type of blunt force."
According to the arrest report, Mucia smelled strongly of alcohol and was so unsteady on his feet "that officers had to sit him down just to speak with him."
Mucia was arrested around and faces charges of burglary and alcohol intoxication in a public place. Other charges could follow.
