Twitter, Inc. (NYSE: TWTR) shares closed up 4.79 percent on Thursday, following the 8.4 percent in gains the stock saw on Tuesday before the market closes for the holiday. The stock hit a new all-time high of $74.73 during intra-day trading. The stock has now hit a new record high for four straight trading days and has been one of the biggest market movers in the NYSE this past week.
Tesla Motors, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) shares closed up another 2.69 percent on Thursday making it over 8 percent in gains seen since this past Tuesday. The stock was one of the most actively traded stocks on the NASDAQ, trading nearly 6.7 million shares. The company has opened its first Supercharger station in New York.
Provectus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTC: PVCT) shares closed up 21.26 percent on Thursday with about 3.3 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers in the OTC market and hit a new 52-week high of $2.50 during intra-day trading. The company had no significant news this week.
3D Systems Corp. (NYSE: DDD) shares bounced on Thursday to close up 6.96 percent after declining 5.36 percent this past Tuesday. The traded 6.3 million shares roughly and hit a new 52-week high of $92.68 during intra-day trading. Analysts at Canaccord Securities recently raised their price target on the stock to $95, citing new consumer products that could help the 3-D printing company expand its distribution channels and gain exposure.
