Christmas is over. The New Year looms. But 2013 isn't over yet.
Now the Wildcats have gained bragging rights for 2014 by beating the Cards 66-73 at Saturday evening at Rupp Arena.
Understandably, U of L Coach Rick Pitino was not happy about the outcome.
"By the end of the game, U of L coach Rick Pitino appeared to be thoroughly perturbed – and he should have been.
"The Cards got nothing from their frontcourt. Montrezl Harrell, Wayne Blackshear and Chane Behanan combined for only 11 points. Pitino also put Luke Hancock and Russ Smith on the bench late in the second half while the Wildcats were taking control. The Cards missed 20 of 26 three-point shots."
There's sure to be plenty of opinions from fans about the game, and we're looking forward to hearing them during tonight's chat at 11 p.m.
Because we'll only have 30 minutes, we may not be able to answer or publish every comment and question during the chat, but you can always address any of our sports staff directly through social media.
Now the football Cards have overcome the Miami Hurricanes in the Russell Athletic Bowl in Orlando. The Cards took an early lead and never looked back. Final score: Cards 36, Hurricanes 9.
Along the way, Tom, Steve and John will address as many questions and comments as possible.
See you tonight at 11 p.m.
