PAOLI, In. (WDRB)--Hitting the slopes, and conquering the biggest hill, isn't just an activity for grown-ups. The whole family is now getting involved.
"My family gets season passes," said Sara Calhoun.
"If he's not moving, he's not happy when we're here, that's pretty much his deal," Rohnn Sanderson said about his 4-year-old son, Owen.
There's good news for little Owen, and ski enthusiasts of all ages this New Year's Eve. For the first time ever, Paoli Peaks is having a bash that will allow you to board or ski until 3 in the morning on New Year's Day.
"We just thought, you know, this would be a perfect place for families to bring their children, and have a good time. They don't have to worry about the alcohol side of things," Lauren Grenier of Paoli Peaks explained.
If skiing and snowboarding are not your things, you can always go tubing too.
"With tubing, everyone can enjoy it all at the same time," Grenier said.
Paoli will also have a DJ, scavenger hunts, fireworks, and a family friendly toast.
"We're going to offer some sparkling grape fruit juice," she explained.
Grenier added it will bring in 2014 the right way, with some adrenaline and family fun that you really can't find anywhere else.
The New Year's Eve celebration gets underway at 8pm. Tickets are cheaper if you buy in advance online.
