LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- More than 300,000 drivers are getting their refunds from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles.The money is part of a $30 million lawsuit settlement. The BMV is accused of overcharging for driver's licenses.
A BMV spokesman says that even if people don't request the refunds, they will still be credited on their accounts.
More than 4 million Indiana drivers will collect refunds. The amount for each person varies from under $1 to as much as $15.
