LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A water main break has occurred in the emergency department of Norton Audubon Hospital. Hospital spokesperson Tom Johnson said the problem occurred around 12:30 p.m.
Update: Officials say the problem has been fixed and everything is back to normal.
This department is currently closed for the immediate future, but all other areas of the hospital operations are functioning normally.
Patients coming into the emergency room facility are currently being sent to other hospitals for treatment.
Johnson said the hospital's emergency room is expected to re-open sometime this evening. There is no word at this time as to what caused the water main break.
