LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Anchorage Police say it was shortly after midnight on Thursday -- and just after an acid trip -- when 20-year-old Ryan Myers found himself at a stranger's home, confused and asking for help.

But before it was over, he would leave in handcuffs.

It all happened at a residence on Walnut Lane, near Hwy. 146 and Old Harrods Creek Road.

Police say Myers became "somewhat violent," striking a wall and hitting the homeowner in the throat, causing minor injuries.

When officers arrived, Myers allegedly began pushing and resisting the officers. Eventually, police say they had to tase him and physically take him to the ground. One officer allegedly received a minor injury to the knee.

Myers was arrested and charged with two counts of assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, according to the arrest report.
