LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman trying to sell a pair of shoes got more than she bargained for when police say the deal turned into a robbery.

According to the arrest report, the victim told police she set up a meeting with 20-year-old Rebecca Forester in the 300 block of Warnock Street on Dec. 21. Police say the victim told them that Forester got into her car at that location and immediately grabbed the shoes.

While Forester and the victim struggled, Forester allegedly punched the victim in the face, told her she had a gun and "took what appeared to be a silver handgun from her purse" before running from the victim's car and getting into another car.

Police arrested Forester on Jan. 3. According to the report, Forester asked for an attorney after waiving her rights and making a taped statement.

Forester faces one count of first degree robbery.
