CORONER: WKU student who died after fall had pot in system

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville teen who died after falling down a flight of stairs at Western Kentucky University had marijuana in her system at the time of her death.

According to toxicology results, 19-year-old Melanie Reichert had both pot and anti-anxiety pills in her system.

Police say the college sophomore died of serious head trauma, after falling down a set of stairs at an apartment complex near campus.

Reichert graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 2012.
