LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The young girl who survived a fatal house fire in New Albany continues to recover.

Family members say 5-year-old Taty'Ana Hughes had surgery Wednesday, and doctors were able to perform skin grafts.

Taty'Ana had serious burns over 20 percent of her body and has lost two toes. She has been on a ventilator since the fire on Jan. 4, but we're told she may soon no longer need it.

Taty'Ana's brother and two sisters, ages two and six, lost their lives in the fire.

The public is invited to their funerals Saturday at Saint Stephen Baptist Church in Louisville.

A fund has been set up at Fifth Third bank to help pay for funeral expenses. To donate, go to any Fifth Third Bank location and make the donation to Dawn Marie Clark, 40219.
