LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Three teenagers, accused of leading police on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle, now face charges for two Jeffersonville robberies.

Police say the teens robbed the 24-7 convenience store on Allison Lane and Young's Corner Store on Hamburg Pike, Dec. 27, 2013.

An affidavit states that 19-year-old Terrel Watters shot at a customer outside Young's Corner Store, hitting a car instead. Watters faces charges of attempted murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and criminal recklessness.

Shawn Martin and Brandon Downs, both 16, are being tried as adults for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery charges.

"To have situations where the robbers are entering the store and actually firing a weapon brings this to a new level of danger to everyone involved and around, so to have these individuals off the street is a very good thing," said Clark County prosecutor Jeremy Mull.

Police say the three suspects stole a car and led officers on a pursuit to Trimble County.

Evidence found in that car linked the teens to several robberies in Louisville and Jeffersonville.
