LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is in trouble after he allegedly broke into a home and stole two pairs of shoes.

According to the arrest report, police arrested 18-year-old James C. Young at the Bonair Library on Jan. 9 after police say he and another man kicked in the rear door of a residence on Nadina Drive, near the interchange between Taylorsville Rd. and I-264, and entered with a gun.

Someone was inside the home at the time, and police say that person tried to escape through a window, but was held at gunpoint.

Only two pairs of shoes were taken, and they were recovered by police. Police say the suspects pitched the gun, but investigators believe they found it outside the building.

Young now faces one count of robbery. There is no word yet on whether his alleged accomplice was arrested.
