LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Offices and schools in Owen County, Ky. are closed after a serious water main break.
Officials in the county have declared a state of emergency because about 2,000 residents are without water.
The main break happened on Monday night, and crews have been working around the clock to fix it. Water crews are calling the situation "extreme" and say several efforts to fix the main break haven't been successful.
They say the outage is expected to last until tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 11.
