Funeral held for three New Albany kids, killed in fire

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)---Friends, family and even strangers gathered on Saturday to say goodbye to three children killed in a house fire in New Albany last weekend.

6-year-old Tai'zah, 4-year-old Tyrese and 2-year-oldTrinity Hughes died after a space heater caught items on fire while the children were sleeping.

Their 5-year-old sister Taty'Ana survived the fire.

She's still recovering at an Indianapolis hospital with serious burns.

On Thursday, family and friends held a vigil to remember the children.

A fund has been set up at Fifth Third Bank to help pay for medical costs for Taty'Ana and for burial expenses.
