BEDFORD, Ky. (WDRB) – Six people were arrested Friday afternoon after troopers found old meth labs in an apartment on McDowell Lane in Bedford, KY, according to a news release.
Police say troopers received information that there was a meth lab at the apartment of Jeremy Garrett, and were granted permission to search the residence.
During the search, officials say they located several old meth labs, ingredients used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, and a small amount of finished methamphetamine.
The six people arrested at the home were Kirk Savage, 23, of Bedford, Ky.; Amanda Brown, 29, of Corbin, Ky.; Latoshia Rayburn, 24, of Bedford, Ky.; Jeremy Garrett, 34, of Bedford, Ky.; Cody Rodriguez, 20, of Bedford, Ky; and Brandi Jones, 35, of Milton, Ky.
All six individuals were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rodriguez was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, in addition to the other charges. Jones was also charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting arrest, in addition to the other charges.
All of the subjects except Jones were held at the Carroll County Detention Center. Jones was transported to the Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment for injuries she received during the incident.
