LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Police say they have arrested four people after the suspects were found in a home with drug paraphernalia.
According to an arrest report, Gabrielle Rutherford, Brandon Berry, Reginald Hornback, and Theresa Loftus were taken into custody by authorities after they were found in a home with suspected methamphetamines on Fruitwood Drive, just east of the intersection of Dixie Hwy. and Flowervale Lane.
Police say they initially went to the home in response to a narcotics complaint. Authorities knocked on the door and were met by Theresa Loftus, who was identified as the owner of the home, police say.
According to an arrest report, Loftus signed a document allowing police to search the residence.
Once the search began, police uncovered used syringes, spoons, a digital scale, and a substance suspected to be methamphetamine.
A police report says authorities also found suspected heroin in a purse and glass pipe that was believed to be used for smoking meth.
Loftus is charged with trafficking a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hornback is accused of trafficking meth and being in possession of drug paraphernalia. Berry and Rutherford are charged with being in possession of a controlled substance and being in possession of drug paraphernalia.
