POLICE: Woman stole money orders from employer

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Police arrested a woman who they say stole money from her place of employment.

Authorities arrested Racheal Lucas after they say she stole more than $3,000 from the Pebble Creek Apartments where she was employed as the assistant manager for about 5 years.

According to an arrest report, Lucas was captured on surveillance camera placing several money orders into her purse. The money orders were said to have come from several different tenants.

Lucas has been charged with theft by deception.
