POLICE: Three people commit robbery; duct tape victim

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Officials say they've arrested three people who forced their way into a home on Riverdale Rd., near the interchange between Greenbelt Hwy. and Dixie Hwy.

According to an arrest report, Frederick Brown, Jr., Chauncey Shanklin and a third accomplice, forced entry into a home with handguns and demanded cash and property from a victim.

Police say the three suspects bound the arms and legs of the victim with duct tape.

After the robbery, the three suspects allegedly fled the scene, but Brown and Shanklin were immediately apprehended. Officials say they recovered two handguns that were used during the robbery.

According to an arrest report, Brown is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Brown is charged with robbery, kidnapping, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Shanklin is charged with robbery and kidnapping.
