LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A telephone outage affecting Henry and Trimble Counties disabled phone service at the Kentucky State Police post in Campbellsburg Wednesday evening, but service was restored overnight.
AT&T spokesperson Cathy Lewandowski said a severed cable caused the problem and apologized for the loss of service.
"Due to a third-party cable cut, some AT&T customers in Bedford, Milton, Campbellsburg, and Sulpher, KY may have experienced issues with their wireline service last night," Lewandowski said. "Technicians quickly resolved the issue, and service is currently running normally. We apologize for this inconvenience."
