LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Chefs at Horseshoe Casino's new Vegas style buffet share some of the foods they're serving up at their grand opening this week.
The grand opening celebration will be January 21st for the casino's new restaurant, The Spread.
The new Vegas-style buffet offers up a variety of cuisines and a dessert island.
Horseshoe Southern Indiana is excited to announce the Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting of The Spread Buffet, our new restaurant, on Tuesday, January 21 at 10:30am. To celebrate, one lucky guest will win one year of free buffets for attending the Grand Opening Celebration.
The Spread Buffet serves up heaping portions of everything from local favorites to international fare. There is a variety of stations, including Italian, Heartland, Mexican and Asian, along with a farmer's market and dessert island. A Taste of Kentuckiana station will offer specialty dishes to show off flavors and favorites specific to our region.
Beth Cheatham (Buffet Chef) and Kevin Sullivan (Buffet Sous Chef) will be cooking and they are making Hot Brown Casserole, Shrimp Scampi and Beef Fajitas.
· Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Celebration of The Spread Buffet begins at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.
· One lucky winner will get to eat at the buffet for free for a year! To enter they just have to come out to the Grand Opening and enter into our raffle.
· The Spread Buffet is an all-you-can-eat experience serving up heaping portions of everything you want from local to international favorites.
· The buffet features quality and quantity that rivals the very best Las Vegas-style spreads.
· Buffet stations include:
o A large Dessert Island
o 'A Taste of Kentuckiana' which offers specialty dishes showcasing local flavors and favorites from the region.
