LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Arson investigators in Louisville say a fire at a condominium complex may be related to a string of holiday wreaths that were set ablaze over the holiday season.
McMahon firefighters suspect arson in two fires set Friday morning in the Atrium at Stonybrook Condominiums. The complex is close to the Hikes Point neighborhood where a string of Christmas wreath fires occurred during December. Arson investigators say the time of day and location of the condo fires led them to suspect a connection.
Atrium at Stonybrook Association President Judy Guittar says the sprinkler system at the complex wasn't working because of the freeze, but a rapid response by firefighters kept the blaze from getting out of control.
