POLICE: Man attempted to traffic drugs near middle school

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Police arrested a Louisville man after they say he attempted to traffic drugs.

Justin Lee Wright was taken into custody after police say he attempted to traffic drugs near Frost Middle School.

According to an arrest report, Wright was observed by a police officer standing outside of a known drug house.

Police searched Wright and arrested him after allegedly finding he had multiple baggies of what police suspected was meth for sale. Police also found multiple denominations of U.S. currency after searching Wright.

Wright is charged with trafficking a controlled substance. He is also charged with trafficking a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, in addition to drug paraphernalia possession.
