LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they have arrested a Tenn.-based truck driver in connection with an alleged road rage incident.
According to an arrest report, the incident took place Friday afternoon at 4:30, on Westport Road.
Police say 62-year-old David Swindle was driving a semi truck when he intentionally allowed his vehicle to cross into the victim's lane and side-swipe the victim's vehicle.
After the crash, police say Swindle kept driving.
Swindle was followed to the Ford Truck Plant on Chamberlain Lane, where he made a delivery. Police say when they stopped Swindle, he was still in his truck. The truck's rear tires allegedly had marks on them that were consistent with the damage to the victim's vehicle.
Swindle was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failing to render aid or assistance, according to an arrest report.
The report lists his place of employment as Rush Trucking.
