LMPD seeking to identify man who tried to rob Kroger

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro Police say a man armed with a handgun tried to rob a Kroger in Okolona and they are now asking for the public's help to identify the suspect.

According to a press release from LMPD, the suspect walked into the Kroger on Outer Loop Saturday, Jan. 25, demanding money from an employee and showing his gun.

When the employee walked away, police say the suspect ran off without getting any money.

Police describe the suspect as a white male between 40 and 50 years old, 6'2" and 250 pounds.
