LMPD: Family Dollar robbery suspect threatened employee with knife

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro Police are seeking to identify a robbery suspect who showed a knife when he demanded money at a Family Dollar, Jan. 26.

Police say the suspect, captured on surveillance footage, walked into the Family Dollar on Taylor Blvd. and demanded money from an employee.

According to a press release, the man ran off when the employee was unable to open the register.

Police describe the suspect as a white man, between 40 and 50 years old, 5'10" and 150 pounds.
