Women say Clark County jail system held them too long

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two more women say they spent more time than they should have behind bars as part of a Clark County drug court program.

It comes just a week after a man and another woman were released after also being held in jail for too long.

Ashleigh Hendricks-Santiago says she was only supposed to be behind bars for six days, but was held there for months.

Judge Jerry Jacobi is in charge of the Clark County drug court program. He has now fired the program's director and suspended a bailiff.
