STERLING RIGGS: WDRB IN THE MORNING ANCHOR
Mini Sausage Bombs (adapted from a recipe by Kroger Chef Paul Dowell)
1 Pkg of Old Folks Sausage- 16-oz
Colby Jack Cheese Squares or Block of Cheese
1 Box of Kikkoman Panko Japanese Style Bread Crumbs
1 Jar of Jalapeños
1- Cut sausage into small pieces big enough to cover blocks of cheese
2- Place one jalapeno on the top of a small pieces of cheese
3- Roll the cheese and jalapeno inside of a piece of sausage. Make sure the cheese is covered.
4- Roll sausage ball in bread crumbs
5- Place on baking sheet
6- Bake for 12 minutes on 350 degrees
*Do not leave in the oven longer than 12 minutes. The cheese will ooze out.
