Sellersburg Lifts State of Emergency

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Sellersburg Police Chief Russ Whelan says the State of Emergency for Sellersburg has been lifted.

In a news release from the Sellersburg Police Department, Whelan advises that road conditions have improved greatly, but urged motorists to continue to use caution.

Side roads may still be snow and ice covered, and there could be spotty icing conditions on the main roads.

Reduced speed and increased following distances are still recommended.
