Six state governors ask for President's help with propane shortage

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Ind. Gov. Mike Pence and six other governors are asking for the President's help with this winter's propane shortage.

Seven governors of Midwest states wrote to President Obama on Tuesday and asked him to help increase propane supplies. They also want looser loan requirements, so that communities could respond to the shortage and pay for extra propane.

In the letter, the governors want to make the propane supply more stable in the years to come.
